These electronic databases are licensed by Fogler Library.  Access is limited to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Maine.  Many of these databases provide access to journal article citations and abstracts, with some full text. Check with a librarian for further assistance.

American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collections	The American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collections include digitized images of the pages of more than 6,500 American magazines and journals never before available outside the walls of the American Antiquarian Society, the premier library documenting the life of America's people from the Colonial Era through the Civil War and Reconstruction. There are five series: American Historical Periodicals Series 1: 1691-1820 American Historical Periodicals Series 2: 1821-1837 American Historical Periodicals Series 3: 1838-1852 American Historical Periodicals Series 4: 1853-1865 American Historical Periodicals Series 5: 1866-1877
