Indexes and Databases

These electronic databases are licensed by Fogler Library.  Access is limited to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Maine.  Many of these databases provide access to journal article citations and abstracts, with some full text. Check with a librarian for further assistance.

Maine Collection in HathiTrust Digital Library	The HathiTrust Maine Collection is a subset of HathiTrust records for digitized books and other materials that are related to the state of Maine. Both in-copyright and public domain content form the collection. Public domain content in the database may be viewed online. Although the in-copyright material (typically material published since 1923) cannot be viewed in full text format, it is included because all texts in HathiTrust may be searched by keyword, resulting in page number references which can be helpful to researchers.
